The girl at the bottom of the pond!

The girl at the bottom of the pond
smiled when I smiled
laughed when I laughed.
and trembled when I threw a pebble into
the  water.

She walked through grassy meadows
and danced till twilight..
she dreamt of cotton candy
and horses white.

She laughed and sang
and had her way.
for who was there to tell her
to mend her ways?

Her feet felt the warmth of the
stones..heated by sunshine.
and her hands ran through the
coat of the  tiger, so handsome!

She lived happily in a world
where the word fear was rare.
spent her day with her knight
laughing and walking on air.

The girl at the bottom of the pond
lived a perfect life..
she did what she wanted
and never had to care.

The girl at the bottom of the pond,
Oh! How  I wished I was her..
till one day, I realized that she was
me and I was her!
